The 4Pillar assessment should be easy to take, and available online. The wording it uses should be very simple so that even someone young can easily understand it, and when it does have to be more complicated, it should have help resources available right there in order to explain what the terms mean, or what those questions are. It should have examples of what things are, so that when people see a question, they can answer from an informed stance.
The assessment should cover only the fundamental things about a business, meaning things that are intrinsically important across all industries and all locations, and should be careful not to target a particular industry. The questions should be balanced, not focusing on a single section more than another section, as each of the areas included have been deemed necessary for effective and sustainable operation in any business.
The assessment should be supported by direct, one on one coaching. Coaching should be available directly from within the location where the assessment is accessed. Coaching doesn’t need to be “cheap” but it should not be expensive. The whole purpose is to make the tool available at a very low price but understand that the tool has limitations when it comes to the human aspect of circumstances. Then, to allow human interaction, pay enough to coaches so that they desire to be available to give really high quality advice.
There will be two types of advisors available:
- General advisors that can help with overall coaching and development of the business, or providing connections
- Niche experts for help in particular areas like Sales, Marketing, Finances, Operations, and Planning.
The assessment will create partnerships with industry experts to allow those who have made themselves experts in a particular industry to only work with those people who have assessed themselves and are committed already to working on improving that area of their business.
The partnerships available will be specifically with firms that provide excellent quality work, not exceeding an equivalent of $100 per hour for services performed. It is to be understood that $100 per hour for services rendered to 4Pillar referrals is the maximum price allowed. If a vendor violates this rule, they will be excluded immediately from partnership.
